The International Tennis Federation is investigating Tommy Haas' stomach virus at the Davis Cup.
German team-mate Alexander Waske said that Hass' virus was not an accident. Of course, they are
blaming the Russians. The headline on CNN.com currently says "
Tennis star alleges Russians poisoned him." He is having blood tests carried out in New York in November for sickness in September -- yeah, that is likely to yield conclusive results.
Of course, the European press is eating up the story which is entirely based on rumor at the moment.

There are already over 400 articles related to Tommy Haas' poisoning Google News, but there are
only about 5 articles on the
theft of Russian rugby shoes. Obviously poisoning is much more sensational, especially in the wake of
Litvinenko's poisoning.
Come to think of it, I had horrible case of sickness back in 1998 after eating a salad in Russia that caused me to miss a plane. Maybe... Nah!
